Ask a Question About Argonaut Hybrid Butternut Winter Squash

  • Answer this question

Who is the seed producer of Argonaut?

    • Great question. Unfortunately hybrid seed producers will rarely tell you the lineage of the seed and the grower because it is all proprietary/trade secret.

How can I figure out if we have a 140 day growing season in south central Indiana? Would it be the time between last frost in the spring and first frost in the fall?

    • That would be the logical way. Some years you might be able to plant earlier or the first fall frost can be a week or two later than usual.
